Police Blotter Coeur d’Alene police

Tommy Maynard reported Monday the $1,236 theft of a student loan check from a home on the 1800 block of April Elaine Ave.

Mario Pinto, Greenbelt, Md., reported Saturday the $1,219 theft of compact discs, cellular phone and miscellaneous items from his rental car while it was parked at The Shilo Inn, 702 Appleway.

John Holmbo reported Monday $380 damage to a window and door of his camp trailer while it was parked in the alley of the 800 block of Fourth St.

Kootenai County sheriff

Christina Poindexter, Hayden, reported Monday the $325 theft of clothes and compact discs and $25 damage to an entertainement center door from her home on the 100 block of Dakota Ave.

Patricia Dupe, Post Falls, reported Monday the $300 theft of a snowboard from her home on the 5100 block of Mullan Ave.

Thomas Daugherty, owner of North of Hollywood Inc., reported Monday the $240 theft of a video cassette recorder and several video tapes that were rented and not returned to the business at 202 Hayden Ave.

Richard Merkel, Bonners Ferry, reported Monday the $2,085 theft of two bicycles, three firearms, a television and miscellaneous items from his storage unit in Coeur d’Alene.
