Jackson Helps Mavs Tip Cavs

Jim Jackson scored 22 points and hit a game-clinching free throw with 6 seconds left to lead the Dallas Mavericks to an 88-86 exhibition victory Sunday night over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The victory before 18,108 fans in the Palacio de los Deportes gave the Mavericks the title in a four-team, two-day tournament in North America’s largest city.

Jackson and Cleveland’s Terrell Brandon led all scorers with 22 points apiece. Cleveland’s Chris Mills 20 scored 20.
