Seminar To Be Held On Qigong

A seminar on qigong, a Chinese healing technique, will be held Friday through Sunday at the Masonic Temple, 1108 W. Riverside.

Qigong is a system of exercise that gives results similar to acupuncture and has been used in China for over 4,000 years.

Qigong master Effie Chow, a San Francisco nurse and acupuncturist, will lead the seminar. Chow and Dr. Charles McGee of Coeur d’Alene wrote “Qigong Miracle Healing from China.”

The seminar will consist of several different classes. Participants pay according to a sliding scale that is based on the number of classes attended. Advance registration is required. For reservations or more information, call 326-5162 or 747-0877.
