Boy’s Only Word: ‘Mama’

A 13-year-old boy left with massive head injuries in what police said was a racial attack is walking and has spoken one word, “Mama,” his doctor said Monday.

Lenard Clark’s head was slammed into a building March 21. Lenard was targeted by three white men because he is black, police said. The men were arrested.

Lenard eats soft food and is able to walk while leaning on his mother.
