Alzheimer’s Patient Found Unharmed

An 82-year-old Alzheimer’s patient who wandered away from her home Monday night was found Tuesday in a north Spokane parking lot, police said.

Magdalena Hoerner was dehydrated but otherwise all right, said Dick Cottam, police spokesman.

She was discovered in the parking lot of the state Department of Social and Health Services building on West Francis about 1 p.m., Cottam said.

Hoerner left her home in the 6700 block of North Standard about 11 p.m. Monday and did not return. , DataTimes
