Level Iii Sex Offender Living In Chattaroy

A Level III sex offender is now living in Chattaroy, Spokane County sheriff’s deputies said.

Darin Arthur Putnam, 36, is living in the 11500 block of East Antler Road in Chattaroy.

He was convicted of second-degree child molestation involving a 10-year-old girl and second-degree assault involving an 8-year-old girl.

Putnam is an opportunistic offender and typically befriends families with young children, say deputies, who consider him a high risk to reoffend.

Putnam, who has a snake tattoo on one arm, is not being actively supervised by the Washington State Department of Corrections. , DataTimes ILLUSTRATION: Photo
