‘Scream 2’ Not Just Another Slasher Flick

Thanks to screenwriter Kevin Williamson, Wes Craven has come a long way from the days in which he made the sleaziest slasher/snuff flicks on record (“The Last House on the Left,” “The Hills Have Eyes”). In “Scream 2,” he actually has constructed a film that is clever, sometimes scary and almost always intelligent.
