Nike Inc. said it signed a five-year agreement with the Women’s National Basketball Association to provide marketing support to the new league and its athletes.

The women’s league, which is affiliated with the NBA and starts its season June 21, announced nicknames for its eight teams: Los Angeles Sparks, Phoenix Mercury, Sacramento Monarchs, Utah Starzz, Charlotte Sting, Cleveland Rockers, Houston Comets, New York Liberty.

La’Keshia Frett scored 21 points and Kedra Holland-Corn added 17 as No. 6 Georgia (20-4, 9-1) defeated No. 12 Vanderbilt (16-7, 6-4) 71-45 in a game matching Southeastern Conference powers.
