Fonda’s ‘Ulee’ Role One Of His Greatest

In his career, the number of memorable performances that Peter Fonda has managed to pull off is small. Opposite Dennis Hopper in “Easy Rider,” for example, or as the doomed rancher who goes back for Warren Oates in “The Hired Hand.” Now we can add “Ulee’s Gold” to the list.
