City’s New Campion Park Open

There’s a new park in town.

Twenty-four acres of undeveloped land in southwest Spokane known as Campion Park opened to the public this week.

The city of Spokane bought the land north of Hatch Road at U.S. 195 along Latah Creek with a $127,000 grant from the Washington Department of Natural Resources.

The city plans to build hiking trails in the park. , DataTimes
