Compuserve To Offer Flat-Rate Price Again

CompuServe, hit hard by rivals’ offers of unlimited online access, on Wednesday said it would reintroduce the flat rate after abandoning it last year.

Compuserve, the second-largest online service, is temporarily selling unlimited online access for fees ranging from $24.95 to $27.95 a month. It normally charges $9.95 for five hours and each additional hour costs $2.95.
