Comments Sought On New Fishing Rules

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is gathering final public comments on changes in fishing regulations.

Changes are proposed for trout fishing on Bonner Lake; bass fishing on Perkins, Dawson, Robinson, Kerr and Brush lakes; and trout fishing on Priest Lake. The agency also is proposing removing the electric-motors-only restriction on Gamble Lake.

Open houses are scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. June 16 at the Leo Hadley Range in Sandpoint; June 17 at the VFW Hall in Priest River and June 18 at the University of Idaho County Extension Office in Bonners Ferry. , DataTimes
