Biology Festival Features ‘Blood And Guts’
“Blood and Guts,” a science festival for kids, will take place Tuesday at the West Central Community Center, 1603 N. Belt.
More than 600 kids are expected to attend the event featuring exhibits, puzzles and experiments related to human biology. Sponsored by Seafirst Bank, the “Jammin’ Science Fest” also will feature a real brain.
A morning session is reserved for participants in local youth-care organizations, but an afternoon session from 1 to 4 will be open to children ages 5-12 who are accompanied by an adult.
