Momentum To Hold Final Annual Meeting
Momentum ‘97, a 10-year-old Spokane economic development agency, today will hold its final annual meeting with a presentation by Olympic gymnast Peter Vidmar.
Vidmar, who in 1984 won a gold medal as captain of the U.S. gymnastic team, holds an economics degree from the University of California-Los Angeles and speaks frequently to Fortune 500 companies.
The meeting begins at 3:30 p.m. at the Spokane Arena and is open to the public. Tickets are $10.
Momentum officials will celebrate a decade of achievements and discuss the transition to Focus 21, a newly created strategy for economic growth.
Since 1987, Momentum has invested more than $10 million in agencies and projects that created more jobs, increased personal income and preserved the area’s quality of life. The organization has 550 member-investors. , DataTimes
