Princeton Prevails
Undefeated Princeton (15-0) won its second straight NCAA lacrosse championship, scoring the first eight goals and cruising to a 19-7 victory over Maryland (12-5).
The Tigers’ 28th straight victory made them the 10th unbeaten champion in the 27-year history of the tournament, the first since North Carolina in 1991.
Jesse Hubbard had four goals and three assists to help Princeton become the first repeat champion since Syracuse in 1988-90.
