Bogus Nba Goods Seized

Compiled From Wire Services

A federal judge has ordered marshals to seize counterfeit NBA merchandise sold near the Delta Center during the Western Conference finals.

Initially, U.S. District Judge Tena Campbell refused to order the seizure of phony goods from vendors. But a three-judge panel of the U.S. 10th Circuit Court of Appeals in Denver overruled her last Thursday.

Later that day, Campbell granted a temporary restraining order.

National Basketball Association Properties Inc. filed the lawsuit petitioning the court to order the seizure of all counterfeit NBA goods within 10 miles of the Delta Center, where the Utah Jazz play.
