Pitino Names New General Manager

Rick Pitino selected Chris Wallace the Boston Celtics’ new general manager.

Wallace was hired away from the Miami Heat, where he was director of player personnel. The Celtics had to give Miami the 30th overall pick in the upcoming draft and in return got the Heat’s 55th pick.

Wallace will be in charge of trades and other negotiations.
