That’s Just Peachy
You may have to break some eggs to make an omelet, but you can make a salsa without any tomatoes.
Quinn’s Peach Salsa, from Ellensburg, Wash., is a mildly spicy, sweet-tart mixture that includes peaches, cantaloupe, pineapple, orange and red bell peppers, Walla Walla sweet onions, fresh ginger and just a hint of habanero peppers.
It’s particularly tasty on sandwiches, or with grilled meats and seafoods. And if you want to dip a chip or two, we won’t tell.
Price: $4.50-$6 for 16 ounces.
