Items Taken From School Buses, Garbage Truck

Nearly $1,400 worth of electronic equipment and other items were stolen from six school buses and a garbage truck in burglaries reported Thursday.

Two CB radios, two radios and two Kootenai School District No. 274 placards were taken from four buses on Monday or Tuesday, according to a sheriff’s report. Two more CB radios, two driving lights, a stop sign arm and a mirror were taken from two school district buses last week.

An Addington Excavating garbage truck also was burgled during that period. A battery, tools, a baseball bat and automotive supplies were stolen from the truck, according to a sheriff’s report. , DataTimes
