Bullets Pepper Athol Home, Truck

The sounds of gunfire and breaking glass awoke an Athol couple this weekend as bullets peppered their house and a truck parked out front.

No one was injured by the Saturday night gunfire that broke windows, pierced the log house and damaged a Jeep Cherokee, according to a sheriff’s report. Damage was estimated at $800.

Deputies found at least nine holes and recovered three bullets from the Rock Springs Road house following the 8:45 p.m. shooting, but have no suspects. , DataTimes
