Sheriff’s Deputy Rolls Patrol Car

From Staff And Wire Reports

A Spokane County sheriff’s deputy spent the night in Holy Family Hospital after rolling his car on Saturday.

Shannon McCrillis was released from the hospital Sunday afternoon, said Dave Reagan, Spokane Sheriff’s Department spokesman.

McCrillis was responding to a domestic violence call around 10 p.m. when his patrol car hit some washboard on Hardesty Road in northern Spokane County.

The car rolled and is likely totaled, Reagan said.

McCrillis was admitted to the hospital after complaining of neck, back and head pain.

McCrillis has been with the department about a year, Reagan said.
