Rookie Helps Reign Get Past Rage

Shalonda Enis scored 20 of her season-high 33 points in the first half to lead the Seattle Reign to an 86-79 American Basketball League victory over the Philadelphia Rage on Wednesday night.

The Reign (5-8) got their first back-to-back wins of the season while the Rage (5-6) lost their fourth in a row.

Enis, a rookie forward from Alabama, eclipsed Kate Starbird’s previous team-high 25 points against Long Beach Nov. 9. Enis’ previous season high was 23 points.
