Warning Light Forces Horizon Plane To Land

From Staff And Wire Reports

A Horizon Airlines flight leaving Spokane turned back Sunday afternoon and made a “precautionary landing,” a Federal Aviation Administration duty officer said.

The Dash-8 twin turboprop landed after its pilot saw a warning light on the control panel, said Mike O’Connor, FAA duty officer in Seattle.

O’Connor said he does not know what kind of problem the plane had. The plane, which had been on its way to Great Falls, Mont., landed at 1:50 p.m.
