Eagles Climb To 23rd In I-Aa Football Poll

Eastern Washington moved to 23rd in this week’s ESPN/USA Today NCAA Division I-AA Football Poll as picked by a nationwide panel of sportswriters and broadcasters.

The Eagles, coming off a 63-7 victory over Rocky Mountain last Saturday, were 25th in the preseason poll. Montana, which opens its season this week against 18th-ranked Stephen F. Austin, is the top-ranked team. Northern Arizo na (1-1) stands fourth.
