Cooper Frank, 10, dressed as erector set inventor A.C. Gilbert in Salem, Ore., holds an authentic erector set airplane in front of a poster showing a first-class stamp being released by the U.S. Postal Service commemorating Gilbert’s beloved invention. The Gilbert stamp is one of 30 being released this month as part of the “Celebrate the Century” program honoring people, places and events of the 20th century.
