Mission Of Mercy

Britain’s Prince Charles met with HIV-infected girls Sunday at a women’s shelter in Katmandu, Nepal. He also talked with Gurkha veterans who served in the British army and had a conference with Nepalese King Birendra. A dozen girls greeted the prince with flowers in a campaign to convey to Nepalese that the disease does not spread from such contact. Many of the girls were rescued from brothels in India.
