Adams Enters Race For State Schools Chief

Former state Rep. Richard Adams of Grangeville will announce his candidacy for state schools superintendent Monday, making him the fourth Democrat to enter the race.

The former six-term lawmaker, who served in the Idaho House from 1980 through 1992, is a teacher at Clearwater Valley High School in Kooskia.

Adams’ wife, Karen, also is a teacher. They have two children.
