Quest Win 21st Straight At Home

Valerie Still scored 22 points as the Columbus Quest beat the Atlanta Glory 101-70 Monday night to close the regular season with their 21st consecutive home victory.

The Eastern Conference champion Quest, who finished with the ABL’s top record (36-8) for the second straight year, have a bye in the opening round of the playoffs. They play the winner of the New England-San Jose series, which begins Friday at New England.

The Quest, seeking a second straight league championship, never trailed and finished the season by winning 17 of 18.

Katie Smith and Tonya Edwards each scored 18, and Sonja Tate had 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Teresa Edwards scored a game-high 25 points for the Glory.
