Know before you write

In response to Bill Sawatzki’s letter (Valley Voice, Jan. 1), I am proudly the 7th of 10 children of Lynn Schindler.

I am now 20 and as I look at my wonderful childhood and my responsible, productive and bright future, I know I owe everything to my two parents.

If raising 10 responsible, law-abiding and productive children is “irresponsible,” well then someone should reevaluate their definition of irresponsibility. Making comments about something of which one has no knowledge fits Mr. Sawatzki’s letter under the definition of irresponsibility. Joe Schindler Spokane
