Post Falls Holds Off Determined EV Rally

Jennifer Swanstrom proved that every point counts.

Swanstrom hit a free throw with 2 seconds left, her lone score of Saturday’s game, and Desiree Johnson stole the subsequent inbounds pass as visiting Post Falls (12-6, 10-5) edged East Valley 55-53 in the Border League.

EV (4-10, 3-7) trailed 43-33 with 4 minutes left, but used a 7-0 run and Malea Schumacher’s two free throws with 8 seconds left to pull within one point.
