Compiled From Wire Services

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers rewarded Tony Dungy for leading the team to its first playoff berth since 1982, voiding the remaining four years on his contract Wednesday and replacing it with a five-year deal.

Financial terms were not disclosed. However, the Bucs said Dungy, whose two-season winning percentage of .500 is highest in club history, will rank among the highest-paid NFL coaches after earning $650,000 last year.

Tampa Bay won 11 games in 1997.

The Denver Broncos agreed to a four-year, $13.6 million contract with defensive end Neil Smith, an unrestricted free agent.

Tight end Jackie Harris agreed to a two-year, $2.1 million contract with Tennessee.

The Miami Dolphins released veteran safety George Teague, 27.
