Cal Poly freshman Lew Finnegan came off the bench to score a career-high 13 points and made a pair of free throws to seal the win in the final minute as the Mustangs beat Long Beach State in San Luis Obispo, Calif. … Thomas Shewmake had a game-high 14 points and 11 rebounds as CS Northridge beat UC Riverside in Los Angeles. The Matadors shot 37.7 percent (20 for 53) to the Highlanders’ 29.5 (13 of 44). … Christian Maraker scored a game-high 26 points as defending conference champion Pacific defeated Fullerton in Stockton, Calif.
