Theresa Heinz Kerry to campaign in Idaho

Associated Press

KETCHUM – Theresa Heinz Kerry, hitting the campaign trail for her husband, Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry, will stop for an Idaho fund-raiser.

Her husband will not attend.

Alan Blinked, former U.S. ambassador to Belgium, and his wife, Melinda, will host the ketchup heiress at their Ketchum home Saturday.

“She is one of the most exceptional people I’ve ever met,” Alan Blinken said. “She funded Galena Lodge years ago, funded EMS training and service in the valley and is an enormous supporter of the hospital in Blaine County.”

The Kerrys have a home in the Wood River Valley.
