Halloween alternative party planned by Epic Life Church

Epic Life Church is holding a Halloween Alternative party on Sunday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the Sons of Norway Building, 6710 N. Country Homes Blvd.

The party will include a luau with games, food, prizes and candy.

Holiday bazaar

The women of Central United Methodist Church, 518 W. Third Ave., are hosting a holiday bazaar on Nov. 6 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

The sale will include needlework, cookbooks, gift baskets, baked goods and more. Lunch will be available from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. for $5 for adults and $2.50 for children under 12 years old.

There will also be a quilt drawing with tickets on sale for $1 or six for $5.

Fall festival planned

Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 7307 N. Nevada St. is hosting a Fall Festival on Sunday from 5 until 7 p.m.

There will be carnival games, indoor trick or treating, face painting, hay rides and food. While the kids are enjoying these activities, the adults can have specialty coffees, baked goods and fellowship.

Costumes that are not scary are welcome.

Prince of Peace family bazaar

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 8441 N. Indian Trail Road, is hosting its annual Fall Family Bazaar on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Items for sale will include crafts, quilted items, plants, Prince of Peace Soup Mix, antiques and more.

Election Day bake sale

Shadle Park Presbyterian Church, 5508 N. Alberta St., is holding an Election Day bake sale on Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.

The sale will feature a coffee and latte bar.

Proceeds will help 50 church members participate in a mission to Mexico next summer.
