Plane search ends

SULTAN, Wash. – The search for an aircraft in distress south of town ended, and authorities said there’s no indication a plane was ever missing. A signal from an emergency locator beacon was detected and the source was traced to the Sultan area, but a small plane at the nearby airport inadvertently had its emergency signal activated.
