Lester

Age: 1 year, 7 months

Breed: Domestic shorthair

Sex: Male, neutered

Offense: Car wars

This muted gray tabby showed up injured on a Coeur d’Alene porch. A veterinarian’s inspection revealed fractures to the hind end. Lester has been lying low at the Kootenai Humane Society since January and has recuperated enough for public viewing now. He’s healing well and is expected to have no lasting effects from his probable car-versus-cat incident, except a sweet nature and gratitude for his rescuers. If you’ve got a safe spot for him in your home, visit 11650 N. Ramsey Road in Hayden Lake, or call 772-4019.
