Randy L. Marsh, 51, was westbound on Deer Park Milan Road in a Ford Probe shortly after 1 a.m. when he rear-ended a pickup driven by Chattaroy resident Donna Brimingham, 53, WSP said.

Brimingham was injured and taken to Holy Family Hospital by ambulance, WSP said. She did not remain at the hospital late Saturday.

Marsh was booked into jail on counts of vehicular assault and driving under the influence.

Former soldier beaten to death, officials say

Tacoma A former Fort Lewis soldier was kidnapped and beaten to death because he owed money to one of his fellow soldiers, federal prosecutors say. Christopher Jerry, 22, was killed near a gate at the Army post on Aug. 31, two weeks after he was discharged from the military.

Michael Antonio Jordan, a soldier from Jerry’s unit, was indicted last week on charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. Lakewood resident Thomas Evans Dunigan faces the same charges.
