Kootenai volleyball holds off Coeur d’Alene Charter in four

Coeur d’Alene Charter went into Harrison and put a scare into North Star League volleyball leader Kootenai on Monday night, but in the end the Warriors emerged with a hard-fought four-game victory.

Junior Cassie Scheffelmaier had seven kills and 17 assists to lead Kootenai to its fifth straight North Star win and 12th victory in 13 matches overall, 25-6, 20-26, 26-24, 29-27.

Janie Helgeson had 30 digs for Coeur d’Alene Charter.
