Morrison lacks class

The Spokesman-Review

When I watch Adam Morrison play basketball, it is the most disgusting display of sportsmanship and class I have ever seen in a college basketball player.

It is unfortunate so many parents let their kids go up to Adam and get his autograph and picture taken with him. The way he talks trash to his opponents, the way he yells at his teammates, and his lack of respect for the game is something parents should keep in mind when sending their kid running up to the so called “All-American.”

I thought Gonzaga and Mark Few stood for everything pure and classy, when in fact they have a guy who displays the total opposite traits. I just want to make sure the people of Spokane do no fall in love with the future success of Adam until he grows up and starts to play the game with some dignity.

Perhaps Adam should get some advice from the most dignified athlete to come out of Spokane, and the one person who stands for everything Adam Morrison does not: John Stockton.
