Youth programs planned at New Hope

New Hope Christian Reformed Church, 3110 W. Francis Ave., is offering two programs for kids in the first through the eighth grades.

Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior is for girls who wish to gather for singing, prayer, Bible lessons, and crafts. The girls can earn merit badges for their activities.

The Cadet program is for boys who like camping, hiking, derby racing, games and crafts. They also will spend time with Bible lessons and can earn badges.

The two groups will meet Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. starting Wednesday. For more information, call the church office at 325-4882.

Leadership conference

Destiny Church, 4249 E. Pratt Ave., is presenting the Grace for All Nations Ministry International Effective Christian Leadership Conference next Thursday through Sept. 10.

Evangelist Emmanuel Ziga will speak at the conference at 7 p.m. next Thursday; 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sept. 8; 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sept. 9; and 10 a.m. Sept. 10.

All meetings will include a pre-service prayer one hour before the meeting and will take place at Mirabeau Park Hotel, 1100 N. Sullivan Road, in Spokane Valley. The one exception will be the Sunday meeting, which will take place at the church.

The cost for the breakfast meeting is $17 per person. Al other meetings are free, but a free-will offering will be accepted.

Rahda yoga classes

The Radha Yoga Center, 406 S. Coeur d’Alene St, is offering free classes Sept. 9.

The day includes a Hatha Yoga class at 8 a.m., sacred dance at 10 a.m. and a dream class at 2 p.m.
