From staff reports The Spokesman-Review

Teams of skiers will race at Schweitzer Mountain Resort on Saturday in a benefit for people with multiple sclerosis. Races start at 9 a.m. at the NASTAR Course.

Teams of three raise $1,000 to compete. Prizes are awarded for successful fund-raising efforts. Teams that raise $15,000 or more win a trip to Vail, Colo.

Founded by former Olympic ski racer Jimmie Heuga, diagnosed with MS at the height of his racing career, the center has served more than 40,000 people with MS. For more information, call 1-888-364-8467 or visit www.heuga.org.
