From staff reports The Spokesman-Review

A Coeur d’Alene man underwent surgery late Friday night after a 15-year-old girl allegedly stabbed him at a home in Heutter.

Bradley S. Brumbaugh, 20, was in “stable but guarded condition” Saturday afternoon at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, according to a news release from the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said Brumbaugh had been involved in a physical altercation near 6151 E. Galloway Circle in Heutter earlier Friday night.

Police located the suspect about 11:50 p.m. Friday near where the stabbing occurred. She was booked into the county jail on a charge of attempted murder, the Sheriff’s Office said. Her name was not released.
