If cold weather has you thinking about the tropics, Central Valley High School has just the thing: a Hawaiian Halloween party.

Or, you could go small town, by visiting celebrations in Rockford, Palouse, Rathdrum and the like.

Traditionalists may gravitate toward a haunted house; they aren’t hard to find, with at least seven in the region.

Whatever your Halloween tastes, there’s plenty to do. Here are a few of the offerings:

Spokane - 7 p.m.-midnight today and Tuesday. Presented by Ignite! Community Theatre and Rendezvous Events Facility (not recommended for pre-teens), 1003 E. Trent Ave. in Riverwalk. $10/adults, $7/students.
