Sharks power on

Joe Thornton and Patrick Marleau scored power-play goals to help the San Jose Sharks beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-2 on Sunday.

The Sharks, with the NHL’s top power-play unit, converted two of three chances. Ryane Clowe scored his first career NHL goal and Mike Grier added an empty-net goal.
