Idaho to play UC Riverside

University of Idaho will play UC Riverside at 7:05 p.m. Feb. 17 at the Cowan Spectrum in Moscow in a men’s basketball game that is part of the BracketBuster schedule of non-conference games, the school announced Monday.

Former Washington State University linebacker Mawuli Davis will join the Western Washington University football staff as a linebackers coach.

Davis, 26, was a graduate assistant and assistant linebackers coach the last two years at University of Texas at El Paso while working toward his master’s degree in educational psychology. Davis played the 2002 season at WSU, making 10 starts on a 10-3 team and playing in the 2003 Rose Bowl against Oklahoma.
