A story about Chris Lytle was written last week, but not published until Tuesday. The S-R regrettably failed to check Lytle’s status before reporting that he was still missing. Late Monday afternoon, the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office sent a press release to media outlets with information about the remains of an individual they believed to be Lytle. His death has since been confirmed.
