Emilee Lepp’s three-run double sparked a seven-run fourth inning Saturday as Colville routed Clarkston 12-0 in five innings at the District 7 2A championship game at Medical Lake.

Jordan Emmil added a two-run homer for the Indians (21-0) in the fourth.

Michelle Ching earned the win for Colville after allowing four hits in the complete-game shutout.

With the win, the Indians earn the top seed to the State 2A tournament, which starts Friday at Walla Walla Point Park in Wenatchee. … In other tournament action, Clarkston earned the second and final seed to state with an 8-6 win over Pullman. Katie Hinrichs and Courtney McKeehan had two hits apiece to lead the Bantams (12-12). The Greyhounds (16-6), who beat Medical Lake (9-12) 12-2 in five innings earlier, are finished for the season.

“Chelan scored three times in the first and went on to beat Colfax 9-4 in the District 6/7 1A regional championship game at Kettle Falls High School. The Bulldogs scored three runs in the fourth to go ahead 4-3, but the Goats responded with three runs in the top of the fifth. Chelan, which beat Kettle Falls 4-3 in 10 innings earlier, advances to the State 1A tournament as the top seed. Colfax (17-7), which beat Cascade (Leavenworth) 5-3 earlier in the day, is the second seed. The State 1A tournament begins Friday at the Paul Lauzier Athletic Complex in Moses Lake. … In other tournament action, Brook Hesselgesser hit a two-run triple in a five-run second-inning and the Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls) Eagles topped Kettle Falls 7-3. Lauren Bassen added three hits for Lakeside. The Eagles (15-6), who beat Cascade 15-3 in five innings earlier, are the third seed to state. Kettle Falls (17-10), which blanked Brewster 5-0 in an earlier game, is the fourth and final seed.

“Colton beat Touchet 11-2 in the District 9 1B championship game in Pasco and will advance to the state tournament as the top seed. Touchet is the second seed. Garfield-Palouse earned the third and final seed to the state tournament after beating Liberty Christian in the consolation championship. The State 1B tournament starts Friday at the Gateway Sports Complex in Yakima.
