NFL matchups

The Spokesman-Review

Packers at Lions

Time: 9:30 a.m. TV: Fox 28

Line: Packers by 3 1/2 .

Records: Packers (9-1), Lions (6-4)

Last meeting: Packers won, 17-9, at Green Bay on Dec. 17, 2006.

Key stat: Packers have won 11 of last 13 Brett Favre starts vs. Lions.

Fantasy factor: Favre just keeps rolling along with 19 TD passes vs. 8 INT. Lions have become a one-dimensional team, so Roy Williams should add to his 55 catches, 5 TDs.

The buzz: Can anything stop the Packers machine at this point?

Road division games always tricky, but Favre has the Packers playing over their heads. Lions’ only hope is rediscovering their running game.

Jets at Cowboys

Time: 1 p.m. TV: CBS

Line: Cowboys by 14.

Records: Jets (2-8), Cowboys (9-1)

Last meeting: Cowboys won, 17-6, at New York on Sept. 28, 2003.

Key stats: Cowboys 24-14-1 on Thanksgiving, going for first 10-1 start in their 48 seasons.

Fantasy factor: Jets’ Kellen Clemens, who has completed 59.5 percent, has 3 TDs and 3 INT in three starts. But he’s up against Tony Romo, who has thrown 38 TD passes vs. 21 INT in last 16 regular-season games.

The buzz: The Jets will have some confidence after beating the Steelers, but the Cowboys haven’t lost to anybody this side of New England and they won’t start now. Looks like another Happy Thanksgiving in Dallas.

Colts at Falcons

Time: 5 p.m. TV: NFL Network

Line: Colts by 12.

Records: Colts (8-2), Falcons (3-7)

Last meeting: Colts won 38-7 at Indianapolis on Dec. 14, 2003.

Key stat: Falcons 3-5 in Joey Harrington starts.

Fantasy factor: Joseph Addai is running strong with 8 rushing TDs, 4.3 average. Michael Jenkins, with 9 catches last week, playing a larger role for Falcons.

The buzz: Byron Leftwich is hurt again, so Harrington gets another chance. Colts’ defense is hanging in there despite losing Dwight Freeney.
