Astros 5, Cubs 4 (11): At Houston, Luke Scott tripled home the winning run in the 11th inning and the Astros dropped Chicago out of a tie for the Central Division lead with a victory.

Giants 2, Diamondbacks 1: At San Francisco, Dan Ortmeier tripled to start the eighth inning and scored on Pedro Feliz’s sacrifice fly as the Giants snapped Arizona’s six-game winning streak.

Rockies 8, Phillies 2: At Philadelphia, Matt Holliday hit two home runs and Franklin Morales threw five scoreless innings as Colorado topped the Phillies.

Brewers 6, Pirates 1: At Pittsburgh, Prince Fielder hit his 44th home run and Milwaukee took over first place in the Central with a win over the Pirates.

Braves 13, Mets 5: At New York, Mark Teixeira hit a three-run homer and Atlanta roughed up Orlando Hernandez in a victory over the Mets.

Padres 9, Dodgers 4: At Los Angeles, Jake Peavy allowed two runs in seven innings for his 17th win as San Diego topped the Dodgers.

Reds 7, Cardinals 2: At Cincinnati, Adam Dunn hit a grand slam and a solo homer off Mark Mulder, and the Reds extended St. Louis’ losing streak to five.

Marlins 13, Nationals 8: At Miami, Hanley Ramirez homered twice and Mike Jacobs drove in five runs, powering Florida to a victory over Washington.
