Get real information from fire department

There you go again, Hugh Davis, spouting off untrue rhetoric about another governmental agency. Why must you use these types of tactics in an attempt to confuse the public?

For instance you speak of the levy lid for Fire District 8. You make the inference that they have the ability to exceed this lid. Hugh, the public is smart enough to figure out that Fire District 8 is well below the state Legislature-capped lid limit.

You speak of annexation as if the city is going to take over without a fight. I’m sure the Moran Prairie residents will have something to say about this. And you want us to believe Fire District 8 negotiated some deal with the city to make annexation easier in the future. Not true.

You talk like you know what an adequately staffed fire department would look like to meet the needs of the residents. Are you really the expert? I am sure the residents of the fire district would be very interested to hear the truth. I would suggest you call Fire District 8. They are bound by state law to give you only the facts and the truth, unlike you Mr. Davis.
